I always wanted to play on a Gretsch kit, I don't know anyone that's ever had one. Every one of those companies makes nice drums, Pacifics are even nice from what I hear.

The question is, why is the mighty KENT not on this list?? :lol:

I've been a DW guy for a long time and really feel that you can't compare anything to their attention for detail, quality, finishes and overall sound. Of course it's all relative because that 'sound' doesn't appeal to everyone. That being said I've always had a soft spot for Ludwig who were the king...
