I just wanted to let you all know about an upcoming workshop in Buffalo. Michael Beach from the Brothers of the Baladi will be teaching two workshops at Oasis Dance Center on July 13th. MIDDLE EASTERN / WORLD MUSIC DRUM & RHYTHM WORKSHOP
With Michael Beach from Brothers of the Baladi
July 13th, 1-3 PM

For Cabaret, Tribal, Egyptian, Fusion and all Dancers, Musicians, Non-Musicians, Drummers & Non-Drummers.
Basic introduction of Arabic, Turkish, Armenian, Persian & North Africa Music and how to relate it to our western music.
Beginner, Intermediate & Advanced Levels of instruction on Doumbek/Tabla, Def/Frame drums, Riq/Tambourine or ANY drum you bring.
Learn how to play drum solos & how to dance to drum solos.
How to create & play with others in a group or ensemble.
How to use the melodic instruments & drums you already have.
Have FUN and do something you never thought you could do.

ADVANCED DRUM & RHYTHM WORKSHOP
With Michael Beach
July 13th, 3-4 PM
Special advanced class for people with previous drum experience who wish to take their skills to a higher level.
