Check out the avatar. Guitarwise i've got a real cheap tele copy. love it though. my favorite (sentimental) bass was my first (it always is). A Vox Apollo 4-string. I think the scary-skinny neck predisposed me to the Rick.

Ha! Don't knock 'em till you've played 'em. They are hands down one of the finest playing guitars ever built. And they can stay in tune through an earthquake when properly set up.

Stave you still have your Spirit?

Ha! Yes & no -
I sold the 'broom' type Spirit about a year ago, but picked up one with a body, and then just 2 months ago picked up a Steinberger with the body - so I have almost the same guitars as you.

Funny story - 2 weeks ago I was playing guitar with Disco Duck, and at the end of the night the singer told me two guys asked her after the 2nd set "What's with the guy pretending to play with you?" She replied "Huh?" ...and the guys said "That's not a real guitar - there's no tuners - it's just a piece of wood and the guy's pretending to play with you!"

OK...........

I'm Sorry Rick - I ran out of poll choices.......

Ibanez/ any metal type guitar!!!

Hey man, don't be lumping all Ibani (like that, plural for Ibanez ) into that any metal type category.

You saw them 2 purty, retro looking Talmans I was playing the other night. Those, as well as the hollow body Artist series and some other models made by Ibanez shouldn't automatically be considered "any metal type guitar."

You of all folks, Mr. Rickenclanker, taking cheap shots at the expense of Ibanez. I'm shocked! :o

I even just recently traded away my Les Paul. Even moreso confirming my faith in my Talmans. :D
Why don't you call the cops and tell them we stole your cookies?
