Postby Kdiddy » May 1st, 2004, 12:07am

I have been thinkin about putting together a rack system for my bass rig. Thinkin maybe a compressor, sonic maximizer, eq and some sorta effects processor but I no shit about it. Can anyone recommend anything cool!

12 string bass... cool, now I can do a set and only play 1/3 the notes.

And yeah, a sonic maximizer probably would be redundant when you have 2 additional strings playing an octave higher.

I would just go for a good compressor. If you are using a pro bass head, it should have a decent EQ.
Get a good power amp, a good compressor (most good studio compressors will do the trick) and a nice EQ rack. Leave the rest of the effects for stomp boxes on the floor. Good Luck
