Sure you can but, if you tune that thing to Eb you better be prepared to transpose 'cuz we ain't having any of that @ casa de mwt.....

Thanks Ric,
This weekend at the Dockside
(that place freakin' ROCKS)
I hit the dance floor for a solo, and was quickly sandwiched between two hotties.
For whatever reason, each one decided to grab an ass-cheek (mine) and hold-on for dear life!

When I finally made it back to the stage, I couldn't sing at all !!!

Couldn't even talk for a while there really........just stood there with a silly grin on my face..... :)

Then if I want to play in standard (EADGBa) tuning, a capo (which I have on me all the time... :P ) on the second fret would make it like a regular guitar...

Son of a.......that will keep me up all night...... wondering.......maybe......

.......wha.............could I...........DAMN YOU MAN !

Do they make them thar things ?
Good ones?
Boss Pedal Style / Size?

If they do, our bass player jams a 5 string, so it wouldn't even bother him.
We could just do it for the songs that need it or that were originally recorded that way

I appreciate all the feedback from everyone.

I think transposing is out for me.
I do way too much lead work, and the combination of open strings and fingered notes and chords would be too much for me.
I like everything to sound authentic. I hate they way it sounds when you substitue an open chord for a fingered one or vice-versa.
Not bad for "folk-music", but it don't cut-it for teh classic rock.

As far as my voice goes, it's a damned powerfull voice.
I just don't have much/any of a falsetto due to one vocal chord being permanantly damaged.

Some songs are just a hair out of my range....
Especially if the original artist dropped a half step,
and I'm trying to cover it a half-step higher!

Ouch! :x

Yeah they do but they are more for an effect they don't really sound very natural. Just tune down the half step don't listen to these retards.
