Growl Bear

Growl Bear is an Alt-Country/Americana/Folk Rock band out of the Rochester, NY area that performs a mix of covers and originals. Conceived and driven by songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Jeremy Button, Growl Bear’s original music is influenced by the artists like The Jayhawks, Wilco, Old 97s, Jason Isbell, Avett Brothers, Felice Brothers and all the bands that influenced those bands. Growl Bear’s debut album, was produced by Aaron Lipp, was released in December of 2022 and has been warmly received.City Newspaper described Growl Bear’s music as “Charming Americana”.The Accidental Music Reviewer: “… a wholesome and utterly rewarding slice of subtle Americana.”
