A classically trained singer originally from WNY, Marina’s early dedications and passions were to musical theatre which she trained in and earned a BFA in before moving to NYC. After performing around the East Coast and Off-Broadway, she decided to focus her attention on her other passion-songwriting. Inspired by the singer/songwriters of the 1960’s such as Joan Baez, Carole King, and Joni Mitchell as well as modern indie pop artists like Hozier, Lana Del Rey, and Lorde, her music is a nostalgic cocktail of pop, soul, folk, and alternative.
