Seven Faces
Buffalo NY based Seven Faces is metal infused, modern (hard) rock combined with a soulful and melodic vocal approach, exploring the lyrical complexities of the shade and light; Put to a soundtrack that is often grinding, sometimes serene. Emotional palette of notes and rhythm become alive.
Their music is brooding, excited, lifting, crushing.
Seven Faces was born in 2010 as the brain child of Singer/Guitarist Scott Hubbell as recording project and means of release from the daily grinds of Adult life. Scott recruited Rob Hall shortly after along with Jason Offerman and within 90 days of the members being in place, the band recorded a full length debut entitled “Empty Pushed Back”. Shortly after that release then drummer Denny Kubas decided to move and pursue other interests, the band quickly found Chuck Geiser to fill the spot and his contribution to the project has proven to be the perfect creative fit to the band. Seven Faces Returned to the studio in 2014 to work on their second release “Above the Below” which was released in May of 2015.
The band has opened for such national acts as Nothing More, Wilson, Soulfly, Saliva and Diamond Head and is on the short list of “go to” acts by mid level promoters in the Buffalo Area as local support for national tours.
Progressive and dynamic, with slice of life lyrics and an honest sense of musicianship and creativity; The Intricate yet differentiated guitar styles of Scott Hubbell and Robert Hall blend together a layered sound that is tasteful and deliberate yet understated. This is complimented by the assertive drumming of Chuck Geiser and solid low end foundation played by Jason Offerman on Bass Guitar. Synergistic and diverse, their music provides a distinct sense of instrumentation, and finely balanced contrast.
