Introducing: The New WNY Music Patreon Page!

WNY Music is branching out in the social media space, and we’ve recently created a page on the popular crowdfunding website, Patreon!

To anyone unfamiliar with crowdfunding websites, sites like Patreon offer a place where members of any community can monetarily support the people and organizations they care about most. For us, Patreon is a way for our viewers to give us the little extra boost we need to move our operation in the right direction.

As our little website continues to grow, we rely on the help of volunteers and community members to keep our operation running. We’ve also been involved with the community itself, with many of our contributors being WNY natives or interns from our partnerships with the local colleges (I should know, as I started out writing here as an intern!). With the money we receive from our Patreon, we are expanding our reach into the community by fostering community building, band promotion, and educational resources. With an operation like ours, every penny counts, and we’ve got so many ideas that we want to make a reality for the future of WNYmusic.com. We’re hoping that through the help of our loyal and supportive viewers through our Patreon page, we’ll be able to bring those ideas to life.

The minimum monthly donation is $1 per month as a way to make this option accessible to as many willing participants as possible.
