2020 Buffalo Infringement Festival – Day #11 Preview
Sunday, August 2 – Closing Ceremonies
Today is the last day of the Buffalo Infringement Festival, but don’t be sad. We still have one more great show to end the festival with, including footage never aired from Donovan King’s thesis that was to be included in the 2005 Montreal Infringement Festival!
Donovan King – Montreal Infringement Festival founder shares with us his censored thesis from 2004 Buffalo Infringement Festival. Optative Theatre: A Critical Theory for Challenging Oppression and Spectacle. www.optative.net
Phriendley Phoes – Live looping psychedelic/funk/hip-hop duo blending the live experimentation of a jam band with the party vibe of a DJ.
The Miss Demeanors – A burlesque group, comprised of 4 performers, performing solo routines, as well as group dances, and chair routines.
Snowbelt – Indie rock band, with elements of folk, that calls Western New York and the Rust Belt it’s home.
Take Two – piece punk/rock band hailing from the Finger Lakes area of NY.
Erica the Ice Dragon – Vocals like heavy butter, relatable lyrics, and catchy hooks that veer from traditional chord progressions. It’s quirky and unexpected.
