Hailing from Buffalo, NY, cylo is an innovative ambient/experimental/post-rock/jazz quartet that captivates listeners with their unique instrumental soundscapes. Combining contemporary/modern piano melodies with a fusion of analog and electronic drums, and atmospheric guitar textures, cylo’s music transcends genre boundaries and creates an immersive auditory experience. Founded just three years ago, the band’s four members have a long-standing musical history, having played together since their youth. This enduring connection has fostered a deep sense of creative chemistry, leading to an emphasis on improvisation in their performances. The result is a dynamic live show, with each song taking on new and unexpected forms, ensuring that no two performances are ever the same. Among their notable performances, the band took to the Infringement stage in the silos at the renowned Music is Art festival in 2022.
