Buffalo Infringement Festival 2021 – Day 4 Previews

Today’s the chance to make a difference through Infringement! Stop by the Elmwood Market to see the National Minority Donor Awareness Day Concert and learn more about the cause while you enjoy some fun music.

  • SVTOKO聡子 – A cyberpunk/underground electronica duo who wear LED helmets a la Daft Punk. Their goal is to create a connection with their audience through their music. Playing from noon-12:45 p.m. at Elmwood Market. 
  • Just Another Broken Angel – A percussion and guitar performance led by Jim Caughill. Additional members of the group vary by performance, so come see what they have to offer this time! Playing from 1-1:45 p.m. at Elmwood Market. 
  • Bryan Dubay – An indie singer-songwriter and producer uber-dedicated to his work. His first album took 10 years to write, and it sounds… well, you’ll just have to hear it for yourself.  Playing from 2-2:45 p.m. at Elmwood Market.
  • Diaspora Drumming – Traditional African drumming presented by esteemed members of the musical community. Playing from 3-3:45 p.m. at Elmwood Market. 
  • Tyler Bagwell – The darker side of folk music is brought into the spotlight with Tyler’s emotional delivery of classical folky stories. Playing from 3-3:45 p.m. at Scoop Shop.
  • La Marimba – Bringing traditional Central American music to life through arrangements for marimba and drum set. A Latin percussion extravaganza! Playing from 4-4:45 p.m. at Elmwood Market. 
  • Kerry Fey – Acoustic singer-songwriter by day, burlesque dancer by night. Playing from 4-4:45 p.m. at Scoop Shop. 
  • Astrabula – Proving acoustic guitar can be more than just indie singer-songwriter music… but even when it is, it’s still a good time. Playing from 4:30-5:30 p.m. at Hostel Buffalo-Niagara.
  • Genecist – Soft and smooth R&B and hip-hop. Playing from 5-5:45 p.m. at Elmwood Market. 
  • Christina Stock – Her description of herself says it best: “Indie-pop-rock- folk-whatever-tf-you want-to call it.” Playing from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at Hostel Buffalo-Niagara.
  • My Rap Name is Alex – A rapper specializing in improvisation and building music on the spot, then delivering his insightful words over top. Playing from 6-6:45 p.m. at Elmwood Market. 
  • Pocket Vinyl – Often described as “piano slam rock,” Pocket Vinyl redefines what it means to add piano to your music. They make it even more wild by adding live painting to their performances! Playing from 6:30-7:30 p.m. at Hostel Buffalo-Niagara. 
  • Monochord Orchestra – Handmade monochord and related instruments strung with piano gauge wire and hardware. Droning and harmonic experimentation with added technology for looping and special effects. Playing from 7-7:45 p.m. at Elmwood Market. 
  • Soular Plexus – An eclectic family band, mishmashing all kinds of genres and ideas together. Playing from 8-9 p.m. at Elmwood Market.
