Buffalo Infringement Festival 2021 – Day 7 Previews

Wednesday, August 4

Stand up and let your voice be heard! Today is all about folk music, the revolution, and where the two meet.

  • The Groovebirds – A group that began as a rhythm section and morphed into duo performances of their alt-contemporary original pieces. Playing from noon-12:45 p.m. at Daily Planet Coffee Company.
  • Kevin Prentice – Kevin, a Buffalo native, started his playing in the bars around the city. What started as a rough attempt of self-expression smoothed over the years by the sands of time and formed into a well-tuned raconteur. Back beats, melody, and stories of people walking in and out. Playing from 1-1:45 p.m. at Daily Planet Coffee Company.
  • Just Another Broken Angel – A percussion and guitar performance led by Jim Caughill. Additional members of the group vary by performance, so come see what they have to offer this time! Playing from 2-2:45 p.m. at Daily Planet Coffee Company.
  • Bryan Dubay – An indie singer-songwriter and producer uber-dedicated to his work. His first album took 10 years to write, and it sounds… well, you’ll just have to hear it for yourself. Playing from 7-8 p.m. at Revolution Gallery.
  • MYQ F – A singer-songwriter and street performer (also known as Michael Farrow) who tells the story of life as a Black man in America through his soulful ballads and sneakily upbeat anthems. Playing from 8:15-10 p.m. at Revolution Gallery.
