Originally from Las Vegas, NV, Michael moved to Grand Island, NY in 2016. Finding a thriving music scene in Buffalo and entering a recording arts program at Harkness have propelled Michael to fine-tune his music and grow as an artist taking him all the way to winning the 2019 Buffalo Music Hall of Fame Yellen Foundation Songwriting Scholarship Competition and winning the 2019 WNY Blues Society’s Memphis Bound competition, earning him a trip to Memphis, TN in January 2020 to compete in the International Blues Challenge. From local festivals to shows all over WNY, Michael continues to practice and refine his sound, as a growing voice in the local music community.
