SVTOKO聡子 IS A JAPANESE FUTURE-WAVE DUO BASED IN BUFFALO, NY.
– – COMBINING CYBERPUNK & JAPANESE AESTHETICS INTO THEIR FASHION & MUSIC STYLE THE ENERGETIC GROUP WILL SURE TAKE YOU ON A JOURNEY TO THE FUTURE – -Haru Hoshiko is the founder of SVTOKO聡子. As a child he was greatly impacted by the Japanese lifestyle, and anime. He grew up falling more in love with the culture, now taking Japanese studies, learning more about the language and their way of life. Haru met Ash at Villa Maria College where they were both studying at the time. Haru – taking Music Industry & Ash taking Art & Animation, they immediately began to collaborate and work on music and artistic concepts for the project. Ash is a Rochester native, and has a great interest in cartoons and animation. After a year of partnership they have developed a great local network and a strong online presence.
SVTOKO聡子 is a duo project currently based in Buffalo, NY. They make the Electronic underground genre of “Future Wave”. Gaining a growing fanbase over in Japan, and having a love for the Cyberpunk genre they fuse both elements into their music & aesthetic. They are influenced by a lot of Electronic & Wave artists. Dawning LED helmets as an inspiration nod toward the great Daft Punk, their goal is not personal recognition, or to seek great fame. Their highest priority is getting known through their music & connecting their audience to the cyberworld of SVTOKO聡子.
