The Beard and the Bird

Performed in their jaunty signature blend of rockabilly and western swing, The Beard and The Bird serve up a lilting melody, insightful lyrics, and a playful, upbeat tempo with an old timey flair. Jon plays guitar and lapsteel and Cat slaps her standup bass. They both take turns singing. All their songs are flavored with a range of influences from Django Reinhardt and gypsy jazz, to the modern sounds of Pokey LaFarge.
