Buffalo Infringement Festival 2021 – Day 10 Previews

Today’s festivities will cover both the relaxing and raving ends of the musical spectrum. Enjoy outdoor park concerts by day and basement ragers by night! We do it all here at Infringement.

  • Adithri – Dark and underground rap influenced by rock coming with a vengeance. Adithri is not messing around, and he will make sure you know that. Playing from noon-12:45 p.m. at the Broadway Market Garage.
  • Capo II – Taking inspiration from classic groups like The White Stripes and Guns n Roses, this duo is proving that they don’t need any more than two people to fill a room with killer music. Playing from noon-1 p.m. at the Broadway Market Roof. 
  • King Medicine – A singer-songwriter that’s making emo a little more acoustic. Playing from noon-12:45 p.m. at the Broadway Market Lobby.
  • Expressive Bro – Expressive bro is the culmination of several years of inexperience. Some say it is jock-gothic. Some say it is bro-emo. Some say it is hyper-punk. Most say it is just-ok. Playing from 1-1:15 p.m. at the Broadway Market Garage.
  • No Time To Think – With vocals inspired by Bob Dylan and instrumentals more like Fiona Apple, this group is a unique collaboration that breathes new life into old ideas. Playing from 1-1:45 p.m. at the Broadway Market Lobby. 
  • La Marimba – Bringing traditional Central American music to life through arrangements for marimba and drum set. A Latin percussion extravaganza! Playing from 1-1:45 p.m. at Erie County Library Central Branch.
  • Neetchy –  The solo project from the lead singer of The Neetchy Band, taking a different direction than his band to create hip-hop and R&B music. Playing from 1:15-2 p.m. at the Broadway Market Roof.
  • Jay Bandzz – A rapper who’s new to the game, but not afraid to show the world what he’s got. Playing from 1:15-2 p.m. at the Broadway Market Garage. 
  • Sardine – Eclectic like you’ve never seen it before, this quartet pulls inspiration from folk, punk, psychedelic, and much more. Playing from 2-2:45 p.m. at the Broadway Market Lobby. 
  • Lil Drexxu and Lil Beast –  Two rappers coming together to make hip-hop music representing Buffalo and the BuffaloKids. Playing from 2-2:45 p.m. at the Broadway Market Garage. 
  • Whether the Weather – A powerfully soulful folk duo whose roots go back to the swamps of their childhood, the bond they share shines through in their performances. Playing from 2-2:45 p.m. at Erie County Library Central Branch.
  • Uber_E/Windy Gang Productions – some new-to-the-game, newage hip hop and rap. Playing from 2:15-2:45 p.m. at the Broadway Market Roof. 
  • Auxcab – An electronic trio delivering a mix of ambience and chaos. Playing from 3-3:45 p.m. at the Broadway Market Lobby. 
  • Monochord Orchestra – Handmade monochord and related instruments strung with piano gauge wire and hardware. Droning and harmonic experimentation with added technology for looping and special effects. Playing from 3-3:45 p.m. at the Broadway Market Garage.
  • Jay Aquarious – An all-around performer with R&B/pop songs to soothe the soul. Playing from 3-3:45 p.m. at the Broadway Market Roof.
  • Diaspora Drumming – Traditional African drumming presented by esteemed members of the musical community. Playing from 3-3:45 p.m. at Erie County Library Central Branch. 
  • SVTOKO聡子 – A cyberpunk/underground electronica duo who wear LED helmets a la Daft Punk. Their goal is to create a connection with their audience through their music. Playing from 4-5 p.m. at the Broadway Market Roof.
  • Daze Ago – Blessing their audience with their unique combination of psychedelic reggae funk-punk. Playing from 4-4:45 p.m. at the Broadway Market Lobby.
  • Cheap Peach – Modern punk rock group best known for their performances and their intense drum parts. Playing from 8-8:45 p.m. at Mohawk Place.
  • Emily Rodriguez – A youngster bringing her fun take on pop music. Playing from 9-9:45 p.m. at Milkie’s Elmwood Lounge.
  • Sonic Wranglers – Experimental music and art, with projected video and live cameras. Playing from 9-9:45 p.m. at Mohawk Place.
  • Astrabula – Proving acoustic guitar can be more than just indie singer-songwriter music… but even when it is, it’s still a good time. Playing from 10-10:45 p.m. at Milkie’s Elmwood Lounge. 
  • Red Button Dilemma – A fusion of indie rock and new wave, this group is all about making music into something more. Every layer has something awesome to offer. Playing from 10-10:45 p.m. at Mohawk Place.
  • Kerry Fey – Acoustic singer-songwriter by day, burlesque dancer by night. Playing from 11-11:45 p.m. at Milkie’s Elmwood Lounge. 
  • Tsunami Tsurprise – Bet you thought surf rock was dead, but this group of Fredonia boys is here to prove you wrong in the best way. Playing 11-11:45 p.m. at Mohawk Place.
  • Retronoid – Lo-fi music for your casual listening pleasure, but make it retro-inspired with influences from cyberpunk. Add in a fun interactive audience experience, and you’ve got a Retronoid concert! Playing from midnight-12:45 a.m. at Milkie’s Elmwood Lounge.
