Buffalo Infringement Festival 2022 Day 3: Saturday, July 30th

  • Inspiration Club of WNY: Where sketchy friends meet! All are welcome. All activities are free. From 10am- 12pm at Fitz Books & Waffles. Bring your supplies and come art with us.
  • Sword dance basics:  Are you curious about belly dance? Are you curious about sword dancing? If so, this workshop is for you! Takes place at Hostel Buffalo Niagara from 12pm- 2:30pm. 
  • The Others: A  Buffalo, New York based movement collaborative and free weekly community class rooted in modern dance and improvisation. Takes place at Nickel City Housing Cooperative: Ol’ Wondermoth from 12pm- 12:30pm.
  • Mathy Maven: A subtle approach to some great songs, on ukulele. Playing from 12pm- 12:30pm at Scoop Shop.
  • Fashion Art by Stefanie Tomasello: 8×10 Fashion paintings with splatter paints. Takes place at The Wandering Wonder Bus from 12pm- 6pm.
  • Quinn Nova Art: Inspired by the weird, trippy and darker sides to life, Quinn Nova is a queer visual-artist of many mediums. Takes place at The Wandering Wonder Bus from 12pm- 6pm.
  • Weird & Wondering by Jeannine Swallow: Cyanotypes and Lumen Prints of alternative photography. New dimensions and abstractions created with historic processes. Takes place at The Wandering Wonder Bus from The Wandering Wonder Bus.
  • Art by Cat McCarthy: Colorful paintings and drawings by Cat McCarthy ranging from abstract to obscene. Takes place at The Wandering Wonder Bus from 12pm- 6pm.
  • Twisted Nostalgia, Art by Amy Lynn Duengfelder: Creepy 90s nostalgia. Takes place at The Wandering Wonder Bus from 12pm- 6pm.
  • Mariner Art Collective Group Show: A collection of visual artists who display their work in Buffalo, NY and collaborate on pieces together.  Takes place at The Wandering Wonder Bus from 12pm- 6pm.
  • Erica wolfing: With vocals like heavy butter, Erica Wolfling’s song structure and transitions are reminiscent of Tori Amos and Regina Spektor. Playing from 12pm- 2pm at Westside Tilth Farm. https://wnymusic.com/band-artist/erica-wolfling/
  • Awet: A singer-songwriter who also raps. He dabbles in a lot of different genres, not limiting himself to one specific style. Playing from 12:30pm- 1pm at Nickel City Housing Cooperative: Ol’ Wondermoth.
  • Bugfoots: Bugfoots is a punk quartet comprised of Joe on drums, Maxx on bassoon, Ashley on keys, and Marc on bass. Their sound is a hybrid of folk and punk. Playing from 12:45pm- 1:30pm at Scoop Shop.
  • The Funny Thing About Heart Surgery: An intriguing and inspirational comedic/dramatic performance including colorful visuals,  music, and to bring laughter to your heart. Takes place at Rust  Belt Books from 1pm- 1:30pm; and 2pm- 2:30pm.
  • Mark L33 & Friends: A local band from Buffalo NY performing hip-hop with a bass guitar, drummer, keyboard player, and a DJ. Playing from 1:15pm- 1:45pm at Nickel City Housing Cooperative: Ol’ Wondermoth.
  • Bobby Angel: Singer/songwriter, “Bobby Angel”, is Buffalo born musician specializing in classic rock, folk, country, and blues. Playing from 1:45- 2:45pm at Scoop Shop
  • Buffalo Streams Live: Watch videos of local musicians playing live in the TGI Sound Lab Studio on the Buffalo Live Streams show from 2pm- 4am on the Buffalo Infringement Facebook Page.

  • DJ JETT: Originally from Syracuse, NY, DJ Jett is a producer and multi-instrumentalist, based in Buffalo, NY, with roots in hip-hop, funk and soul. Playing from 2pm: 2:30 at Westside Tilth Farm

  • El the Mime: A Mime artist who will perform short pieces, followed by balloon sculpting where feasible. Takes place at Hostel Buffalo Niagara (outside) from 3pm- 3:15pm.
  • Dad Joke Battle psrt deux: The return of the Dad Joke Battle! Show up with your tall socks and your jokes that rock! Takes place at Nickel City Housing Cooperative: Ol’ Wondermoth from 3pm- 4pm.
  • Poose The Puppet:  showcasing experimental electronic songs, dances and comedy skits with hand puppets from 3pm- 3:45pm, and 4:15pm- 5pm at Rust Belt Books.
  • Lark and The Night Owl: A two piece band with dirty full bodied electric guitar and thumping basement vibe drums. Playing from 3pm- 3:30pm at Scoop Shop.
  • Original Short Story Reading w/ C.R.Shipman: Original short stories written and read by Christopher, which were specially written for Infringement. Takes place at Pine apple company from 3:30pm- 4pm.
  • Just Another Broken Angel: A mythic conception led by Jim Caughill, playing an eclectic mix of original, improvisational, and cover songs. Playing from 3:45pm- 4:30pm at Scoop Shop.
  • MC Vendetta: Not lean, slightly mean, old school rapper mama with lots to say in a clever way. Playing from 4pm- 5pm at Amy’s Place. 
  • Justin Von Strasburg: Buffalo-based artist, Justin Von Strasburg, makes sounds with a snare drum. Playing from 4pm- 4:30pm at Hostel Buffalo Niagara (outside)

  • Prattletales: ramblings and suchnot from 6pm- 6:45pm at Amy’s place.
  • Qindiii: qindiii plays originals and covers that have an acoustic, alternative feel to them. Playing from 6:15pm- 6:45pm at Day’s Park Tavern.
  • FlashBamPow: An acid jazz band who plays throughout the Greater Buffalo region. Playing from 6:15pm- 7:45pm at Nickel City Housing Cooperative: Ol’ Wondermoth.
  • Tribute to Tim Sentman and other musicians we have lost: Literary performance using poetry and costume to keep the spirits of those we have lost alive. Takes place at Amy’s place from 6:45pm- 7:15pm

  • Auxcab: With many layers of ambient sound, Buffalo-based artist, auxcab, makes experimental electronic music, with hints of techno. Playing from 7pm- 7:45pm at Day’s Park Tavern
