Wolf Tickets
Like their heroes Social Distortion and The Clash, Buffalo, New York’s own Wolf Tickets have been playing thinking man’s punk rock with unwavering conviction for over 25 years.
Not a band to follow trends or fads, Wolf Tickets play a pure form of classic punk that aligns itself with straightforward rock’n’roll first and foremost. To keep things interesting the band occasionally infuses its own form of reggae and ska rhythms to the mix which reflect the members love of authentic Jamaican music.
Born in 1992, Wolf Tickets is led by singer/songwriter/guitarist Chris Malachowski, den mother of the hugely popular Joe Strummer Benefit & Tribute held annually at The Mohawk Place in downtown Buffalo (Chris also gives his time as a fervent volunteer for Strummerville). They have shared the stage with such esteemed bands as Dropkick Murphys, Rancid, The Street Dogs, H2O, The Aggrolites, Lee “Scratch” Perry, Time Again, Murphy’s Law, The Supersuckers, The Briggs, Westbound Train, Bedouin Soundclash, and The Mighty Mighty Bosstones.
