Buffalo Infringement Festival 2021 – Day 1 Preview

Welcome to the 17th annual Buffalo Infringement Festival! This year, we’re getting back to live performances, and we invite you to enjoy local art in the heart of Buffalo.

  • Twenty Thousand Strongmen – Music to rest your entire being to. Playing from 4-6 p.m. at Nickel City Housing Cooperative: Ol’ Wondermoth.
  • Soular Plexus  – An eclectic family band mishmashing all kinds of genres and ideas together. Playing from 6-8 p.m. at Nickel City Housing Cooperative: Ol’ Wondermoth.
  • My Rap Name is Alex – A rapper specializing in improvisation and building music on the spot, then delivering his insightful words over top. Playing from 9-9:30 p.m. at Nietzsche’s (front stage). 
  • Genecist – Soft and smooth R&B and hip-hop. Playing from 9:30-10 p.m. at Nietzsche’s (back stage). 
  • Spud – Fun and funky pop music incorporating elements from disco and ’80s pop. Playing from 10-10:30 p.m. at Nietzsche’s (front stage). 
  • Makeout Tactics – A fun pop-rock band that brings modern indie elements to the rock scene. Playing from 10:30-11 p.m. at Nietzsche’s (back stage). 
  • Kerry Fey – Acoustic singer-songwriter by day, burlesque dancer by night. Playing from 11-11:30 p.m. at Nietzsche’s (front stage).
  • Lazy Ass Destroyer – Early 2000s style rap coming from today’s point of view. Playing from 11:30 p.m.-midnight at Nietzsche’s (back stage). 
  • Low Chatter – A guitar and snare drum sitting together, talking and listening to the sounds around them. Playing from midnight – 12:30 a.m. at Nietzsche’s (front stage). 
  • Between W and Y – Gen meets Brood (X) in a punk-rock aerial performance with ambient screaming. Playing from 12:30-1 a.m. at Nietzche’s.
