Buffalo Infringement Festival 2021 – Day 2 Preview

Infringement has officially kicked off, and Day 2 has plenty in store for those looking for something totally different. Today is filled with the obscure, the new-age, and the space-age. Let your freak flag fly!

  • Tom Stoll – Mandola + laptop + looping = the Tom Stoll experience. Playing from 7:15-7:45 pm at Cafe Godot. 
  • Liminal Space Ensemble – A classical music ensemble offering up a new approach to classical music that fits the fast pace of modern day. They make sure classical music can be something for everyone to participate in and enjoy. Playing from 8-9 p.m. at Cafe Godot.
  • Westward Journey – Ambient music, but make it space-age. Playing from 8-9 p.m. at Hickory Urban Sanctuary.
  • Bobby Angel Buffalo – A one-man show of rock and country that brings some fun and funky flair with both original tunes and classic covers. Playing from 8-8:45 p.m. at Mohawk Place (front stage).
  • Sardine – Eclectic like you’ve never seen it before, this quartet pulls inspiration from folk, punk, psychedelic, and much more. Playing from 8:45-9:30 p.m. at Mohawk Place (back stage).
  • Shannon Vanderlaan – A powerful singer-songwriter that proves piano can make good pop music. Playing from 9-9:45 p.m. at Giacobbi’s Cucina Citta. 
  • Lala Funstar – Soulful and echoing acoustic music paired with vocals that are almost as deep as the lyrics. Playing from 9-10 p.m. at Hickory Urban Sanctuary. 
  • Sydney Driggs – Acoustic and folky indie music from a sweet yet sultry voice. Playing from 9-9:45 p.m. at Milkie’s Elmwood Lounge.
  • Tyler Bagwell – The darker side of folk music is brought into the spotlight with Tyler’s emotional delivery of classical folky stories. Playing from 9:30-10:15 p.m. at Mohawk Place (front stage). 
  • Bobby Angel Buffalo – A one-man show of rock and country that brings some fun and funky flair with both original tunes and classic covers. Playing from 10-10:45 p.m. at Giacobbi’s Cucina Citta.
  • Meg Stepka – An avant-garde take on folk and indie, while also pulling inspiration from the psychedelic rock of the 1970s. Playing from 10-10:45 p.m. at Milkie’s Elmwood Lounge. 
  • The Neetchy Band – Bringing back some of Buffalo’s best-known music, with influences from The Goo Goo Dolls. A fusion of pop-rock instrumentals and densely packed lyrics to make beautifully catchy songs. Playing from 10:15-11 p.m. at Mohawk Place (back stage).
  • Ghost Water – A new psychedelic  project coming from a master of experimentalism: Pamela Swarts. Playing from 11-11:45 p.m. at Milkie’s Elmwood Lounge. 
  • Soular Plexus – An eclectic family band, mishmashing all kinds of genres and ideas together. Playing from 11:15 pm-12:15 a.m. at Mohawk Place (back stage).Hello Headrush – A multimedia electro-rock group telling the story of their original character, Attis. Apocalypse and dystopia enthusiasts, come see what band leader Michael McFarlane has to offer you. Playing from midnight-12:45 a.m. at Milkie’s Elmwood Lounge.
